PASTURED PORK

At Omega Meats I also raise pastured pork. The hog is related to the bear, and you know what they say about bears “ bears are a stomach on four legs”. Hogs are the same; they eat just about anything.

I feed my hogs on a rotating schedule of pasture. The pasture gives them the ability to act like hogs rooting around eating roots and grass. Unlike the cow they need a little help building muscle from grass alone so I supplement them with certified organic feed.

Pastured pork as well as all pastured meat on my farm offers the consumer a good clean meat with well balanced omega fats that is hormone and antibiotic free. An added bonus is that there are no harmful effects to the environment.
