CHICKENS

Did somebody say chickens?

What about pastured poultry?  I have heard from many people “chickens don’t eat grass”. The way I address that is two fold. I guarantee they don’t eat grass on the factory farms, and I guarantee they eat grass on my farm. My chickens forage for bugs, worms and are rotated to fresh grass along with being supplemented with certified organic feed. My chickens are out on grass except when the are too young and therefore are in the brooder.  The sunshine gives them natural vitamin D.

My practice of pastured poultry offers you a far superior product in taste, tenderness and healthy eating. When you purchase one of my chickens I will not be selling you any hormones, antibiotics, injections, or salmonella.  Do you remember what real chicken tastes like, or perhaps you have never had one? Come out and we will remedy that problem.
